About The Position

As a Security DoD Patrol Officer in Nashua, NH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. You will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, control access, and respond to calls for service with clear communication and customer service. Requirements

  • An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
  • Monitor access control points and verify identification, visitor authorizations, and delivery documentation; help to deter unauthorized entry through consistent security-related screening and presence.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions taken and notify site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as required.
  • Complete accurate daily activity reports and incident reports; communicate security-related concerns, hazards, and maintenance issues through established reporting channels.
