About The Position

As a Security DoD Patrol Officer in Merrimack, NH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at an aero and defense location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Requirements

  • An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of buildings, production and warehouse areas, parking lots, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
  • Monitor access control points by verifying identification and/or credentials, directing visitors to proper check-in locations, and documenting entries and exits per post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, initiating notifications and/or incident documentation as required.
  • Complete routine reports and activity logs, communicate key observations to site contacts, and support security-related inspections of doors, gates, fencing, and other physical controls.
