About The Position

As a Security Officer - Healthcare Dispatch in Cumberland, RI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a secure environment for staff and visitors. Requirements

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • At least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and operate communication systems to dispatch security-related personnel and resources as needed within the healthcare location.
  • Receive and respond to calls for service, documenting incidents and relaying information accurately and promptly.
  • Coordinate with on-site staff to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
  • Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and/or patients with security-related procedures and inquiries.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site-specific policies.
  • Maintain detailed logs and records of all communications and incidents for reporting purposes.
  • Support Allied Universal and client emergency response activities as directed by site leadership.
