About The Position

As a Security Officer - Healthcare Dispatch in Cumberland, RI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a secure environment for staff and visitors. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and providing exceptional service and communication. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
At least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and operate communication systems to dispatch security-related personnel and resources as needed within the healthcare location.
Receive and respond to calls for service, documenting incidents and relaying information accurately and promptly.
Coordinate with on-site staff to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and/or patients with security-related procedures and inquiries.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site-specific policies.
Maintain detailed logs and records of all communications and incidents for reporting purposes.
Support Allied Universal and client emergency response activities as directed by site leadership.
