About The Position

As a Security Dispatcher you are responsible for receiving and dispatching emergency and non-emergency calls for security services, monitoring multiple alarms, and utilizing the Public Address (PA) system to make emergency announcements. Accountable for the dispatching of appropriate security personnel and outside agencies, and providing general clerical assistance.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
• 1 year of clerical experience required
• 6 months of multi-line telephone operation or similar experience required

Nice To Haves

• 9-1-1 dispatch experience
• experience using a Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) software program
• CCTV camera surveillance
• Basic POST dispatcher’s course preferred
