About The Position

Amentum is seeking a Security and Training Manager for a position at Tyndall AFB, FL. Duties may include, but are not limited to: Provide security support, and completion and review of program related security documentation and clearances. Document security clearance actions, (VAR) visit requests, foreign travel, incidents/adverse information, and other security actions in internal databases, as well as in DISS. Review, sign and process forms 2583, 2586, 2587 and 2875, ICAM 1 & 2 forms as requested by various departments and the government. Document and maintain active clearances on electronic spread sheets for Tyndall and Holloman AFB Amentum employees. Issue and maintain updated Amentum Security Reporting Information Forms, (SF-312) NDAs, and incident reporting. Work closely with Amentum SFO and the 82nd Tyndall AFB Trusted Agent. Responsible for tracking and renewing all Amentum Tyndall employees (CAC) Common Access Cards. Responsible for tracking and renewing all Amentum Tyndall employees (RAB) Restricted Area Badge. Responsible for verifying need and requesting GOVT FSO approval and for all DBID cards for Amentum employees. Support meetings & conferences (classified and unclassified) with security elements. Assist in production of finished documentation such as reports, studies, policies and procedures, training programs, and assessments. Maintain medical records as required by Amentum Corporate and PWS. Process COSTPOINT purchases. (as Logistics Manager backup). Track and distribute union and exempt site seniority, overtime and recall rosters. Responsible for timely and accurate submission of Air Force required monthly (CDRL) reports (billing, overtime and personnel list). Ensure recall and updated Union site seniority rosters are provided to Union Reps IAW the CBA. Ensure accurate submission and tracking for union safety glasses, inclement weather gear and boots per CBA. Assist with the employee tuition reimbursement process. Send out, track and announce Job vacancies per CBA rules, including local internal and Lead positions. Additional duties as assigned. Training Schedule, track, update and maintain the training database. Conduct initial and annual recurring training requirements and proctor maintenance testing. Schedule CPR classes, coordinate with instructor and track reoccurring spread sheet. Occupational Hearing Become a Certified Occupational Hearing Conservationist (COHC). Focal point for scheduling, conducting, and tracking initial Baseline & Annual Hearing Exams. Make appointments with a doctor if further evaluation is required, update and maintain hearing records and advise in writing any significant changes in hearing. Maintain calibrations on the hearing booth before and after testing. Onboarding New Hires Participating in self-inspections and government reviews (both remote and on-site). Process COSTPOINT purchasing. (as Logistics Manager backup). Proctor local onboarding training (ESH and site specific). Employee Terminations Prepare and administer documents for out processing employees: SF312 AF IMT 2587 Departing Employee Security Debriefing Employee Check-Out Sheet Collect and document all Badges, Credit Card and Bldg. Keys. Key Control Program Maintain Admin Key Log. Distribute and Collect Office Keys. Send all updates to AMIC. Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) Property Manager Maintains master inventory copies for GFE in all program areas Send all updates to AMIC. Works with Supply Leads to ensure annual inventories are performed and reported. Interfaces with the Government Property Manager for inventories, changes, lost or damaged items.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or combination of 3-5 years of Industrial Security work experience that may substitute in lieu of a degree.
  • Must have Secret eligibility, with ability to obtain Top Secret eligibility
  • Familiarity with NISPOM and awareness of other security requirements (ICD/SEAD).
  • Must have ability to follow processes and procedures.
  • Must be able to adapt to changing requirements and priorities.
  • Must be capable of performing and tracking multiple tasks on an ongoing basis.
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat applications.
  • Secret security clearance is required.
  • Applicants selected must be a US Citizen in order to apply for a Secret Security Clearance.
  • Applicants selected either must currently possess a Secret clearance or will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain clearance prior to commencement of employment and maintain a security clearance for access to classified information or Closed/Restricted Areas throughout duration of employment.
