Requirements

  • Education: Bachelors Degree – Information Technology, Cybersecurity or related field
  • Experience: 2+ years experience with IT support, system administration, IT security
  • Field Experience: Solid understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals
  • Technical Skills: 1+ years experience preferred
  • Microsoft Azure / Entra ID: User and group management & MFA and Conditional Access support
  • Microsoft Defender: Defender for Endpoint & Defender for Office 365 (phishing and malware investigations)
  • SIEM / Logging: Experience working with Sumo Logic SIEM (alert review, basic investigations, dashboards)
  • Productivity & Endpoint Tools: Endpoint patching and protection
  • Asset & Access Management : Hardware inventory tracking & User onboarding/offboarding workflows

Responsibilities

  • Security Operations & Monitoring: Assist with daily security operations and monitoring activities under the guidance of the Security team.
  • Security Tools & Technology Support: Help maintain and operate security tools (endpoint protection, email security, logging, vulnerability management).
  • Security Incident Response: Assist with security incident response activities (alert triage, evidence collection, documentation, escalation).
  • Compliance & Audit Support: Support compliance and audit efforts (SOC 2, access reviews, evidence collection, policy support).
  • Security Awareness & Training: Promote security best practices and assist with security awareness initiatives.
  • End User / Desktop Support: Assist with desktop and end user support (Windows/macOS laptops, peripherals, printers) if needed.
  • IT Provisioning: Work with IT to provision laptops and cell phones as needed.
  • Asset Management: Manage the asset inventory in the Tampa office if needed.
