This job supports the department(s) assigned by performing a variety of clerical tasks such as typing, sorting, filing, photocopying, maintaining calendars, booking travel, meeting arrangements/minutes, submitting expense reports and ordering supplies. Serves as a role model within the department to all clerical staff; and represents the Department in all interactions. Creates documents such as memos and other correspondence and generates reports using Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other software as needed. This job serves as a point of contact for the department answering calls, relaying messages, and escalating issues to the appropriate person/group. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Requirements

  • Education Required - High School diploma or equivalent
  • Work Experience Required - 1 year office experience.
  • Experience working with confidential information.
  • Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of required job information.
  • Must be proficient with Windows-style applications, keyboard, and various software packages specific to role.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals throughout the required job processes.
  • Ability to function calmly in high pressure situations.
  • Working knowledge with computers, printers, copiers, fax machines, telephone.
  • Must be able to stoop, bend, reach and grab with arms and hands, manual dexterity.
  • Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time.
  • Must be able to travel throughout and between facilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred - Completion of business school or college courses
  • Preferred - Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
