About The Position

CGI Federal is seeking a Secretary IV to support the Civil Division of DOJ in Washington, DC. This position pays $26.61 hourly. This position is located in 1100 L Street, NW Washington DC 20005. Your future duties and responsibilities: (1) Prepares and or reviews travel authorizations for completeness and accuracy, ensuring that proper procedures are followed; (2) Preparing reservations for travelers (3) Creating routine and ad-hoc reports detailing various status' of travel authorizations, vouchers and discrepancies for the travel program; (4) Providing timely responses to, Assistant Directors, Directors and employees inquires about travel policy and related questions; (5) Troubleshooting problems with travelers, travel service, JMD and credit card company; (6) Processing travel obligations daily and ensuring data matches the information on the originating documents; (7) Performing quality assurance over the processing of travel vouchers; and maintaining a log of vouchers received and ensuring performance time frames are met. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: Detail oriented, highly organized, ability to multi-task, reliable, self-starter, effective communicator, negotiator, comfortable working independently, expert level in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint). Position Hours: 8:30-5pm Monday to Friday.
