About The Position

SARSTEDT, a leading manufacturer and distributor of blood collection and medical devices, laboratory consumables and instrumentation, seeks a Set-up Technician in Secondary Operations for its US Headquarter.

Summary

Sets-up, maintains, improves, tests, troubleshoots, and modifies production components, parts, equipment, and machinery.

Requirements

• Certificate in Mechanics, Electronics, or related field from a college or technical school; and six months to a year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for restarting machinery when there is an alarm or problem.
• Prepares and sets-up printing machinery for order changes according to production schedule.
• Responsible for cleaning and improvements on all production equipment, documenting any requirements needed.
• Checks print quality of product produced and adjusts machine accordingly.
• Contributes to maintaining a safe and clean working environment at all times.
