Perform various tasks on the production floor. Maintain quality and safety standards; keep records; maintain equipment and supplies. Principal Responsibilities: Versatile in a wide range of operations needed in a manufacturing environment Efficiently deburr and polish high-quality parts Use required machinery and hand/measuring tools in accordance with routers and blueprints Prepare parts for inspection Assist in the Shipping Department - package parts Clean, sweep, and empty bins on the production floor as needed Ability to stand and operate machinery throughout the duration of shift, except for scheduled breaks Ability to lift required objects with or without assistance, turn, load/unload required objects Demonstrate safe work habits Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly manner Maintain current, overall, and job specific trainings and requirements Assist in other departments as needed Other duties as assigned Safe Practice Guidelines / Required Personal Protective Equipment: Safety glasses with side shields as required Steel toed/metatarsal safety shoes as required Gloves as required Earplugs as required Welding hood, jacket, face shield, and/or gloves as required Fire Retardant (FR) clothing as required N-95 mask or respirator as required Seat belts required on all forklifts Qualifications and Educational Requirements: Excellent communication skills (oral and written) Detail oriented Manage time with little to no supervision, self-motivated General knowledge and experience in a manufacturing environment AS9100 Quality compliance, understanding, and commitment High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
