About The Position

This is a grant-funded position where continued employment is contingent upon the availability of grant funds. The primary purpose of this role is to plan and deliver instruction to identified students in the classroom, in small group or one-on-one as needed to help students meet learning goals and close educational gaps.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Valid Texas teaching certificate in mathematics (Grades 7-12)
  • Knowledge of curriculum and instruction
  • Knowledge of best practice strategies
  • Ability to interpret data
  • Ability to communicate effectively with parents and students
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • 3 years’ experience as a secondary teacher
