This position will support the operational aspects of Camping Services as well as represent Young Life and the Camping department in a Christ-centered, relational and professional manner. Young Life's exclusive Christian purposes of evangelism and discipleship require all employees and volunteers to minister as a servant of God, proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ, and subscribing to the Young Life Statement of Faith. Employees must be ready, willing, and able to fulfill ministry functions, refrain from conduct and statements that detract from biblical standards, and abide by all policies and practices related to religious belief or ministry activities. All camps aim to create an environment where Young Life staff bring Christ to life by creatively presenting the complete gospel of Jesus Christ. This seasonal role (3 months) offers more than just a job; it invites individuals into a close-knit, missional community formed by individuals serving together. Team members typically serve 3–5 days each week in Housekeeping to help turn over camp between groups, with remaining days and hours spent supporting areas such as Landscape, Retail, and Food Services. While most individuals will gain experience across several departments, all team members are expected to step in wherever help is needed on a given day, requiring flexibility and a genuine servant’s heart. This dynamic environment fosters collaboration, personal growth, and a deep sense of meaning through both work and daily life.
