About The Position

The Seasonal Pool Supervisor / Food & Beverage Supervisor at Spanish Hills Club is a hospitality-driven leadership role with a strong emphasis on Food & Beverage operations at the Club’s pool facility during the active pool season. This position is responsible for creating an exceptional member and guest experience by overseeing poolside food and beverage service, supervising seasonal team members, supporting daily operations, and maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. This individual will act as the on-site leader for the pool operation, balancing hospitality, service execution, team supervision, member engagement, and pool safety. While pool safety and compliance remain important responsibilities, this role is primarily focused on delivering a high-quality poolside dining and beverage experience, ensuring service standards are met, staffing is properly managed, and members receive attentive, personalized service throughout the season. The Seasonal Pool Supervisor / Food & Beverage Supervisor will work closely with the Food & Beverage leadership team, Pool Manager, and Club leadership to ensure the pool area operates efficiently, professionally, and in alignment with the Club’s overall service standards.

Requirements

  • Previous supervisory experience in Food & Beverage, hospitality, restaurant, club, hotel, or poolside service operations.
  • Strong customer service background with a focus on hospitality and member experience.
  • Ability to supervise, coach, and motivate seasonal service staff and lifeguard teams.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, and holidays during the pool season.

Nice To Haves

  • Current certification in CPR and First Aid.
  • Lifeguard certification.
  • Knowledge of pool safety procedures, health regulations, and emergency response.
  • Experience with point-of-sale systems, scheduling tools, and club management software.
  • Food Handler Card and alcohol service certification.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the day-to-day operations of the Club pool facility with a primary focus on poolside food and beverage service and hospitality.
  • Lead, schedule, train, and supervise seasonal poolside servers, snack bar attendants, bartenders, support staff, and lifeguards.
  • Ensure all members and guests receive prompt, professional, and friendly service while utilizing the pool facility.
  • Monitor food and beverage service levels throughout the pool area to ensure standards of service, cleanliness, and presentation are consistently met.
  • Assist with poolside food and beverage service during busy periods, including taking orders, delivering food and beverages, bussing tables, and supporting staff as needed.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen and Food & Beverage team to ensure accurate communication, timely ticket times, and proper execution of poolside menus and specials.
  • Ensure all service staff are properly groomed, in uniform, and following Club standards.
  • Handle member and guest concerns, complaints, and special requests in a professional and timely manner.
  • Monitor pool deck cleanliness, furniture setup, towel stations, cabanas, and overall appearance to ensure a high-end member experience.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures for the pool and food and beverage operation.
  • Support inventory management for poolside food, beverage, paper goods, uniforms, and operating supplies.
  • Assist with weekly payroll review, scheduling, and labor management for seasonal pool staff.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings, pre-shift lineups, and training sessions to reinforce expectations, promotions, safety, and service standards.
  • Ensure all local and state laws regarding food safety, alcohol service, and pool operations are consistently followed.
  • Maintain accurate incident reports, service logs, staffing records, and operational notes.
  • Oversee and support pool safety standards, ensuring lifeguards are attentive, emergency procedures are followed, and the environment remains safe for all members and guests.
  • Respond appropriately to emergencies, member incidents, and operational challenges.
  • Serve as Manager on Duty for the pool area during assigned shifts.
  • Execute other duties not listed above as assigned by Camaraderie Clubs Management, LLC and/or the General Manager.
