About The Position

Banyan Living is seeking a Seasonal Maintenance Technician from May to September with skills in groundskeeping and painting to join our team. This seasonal role is crucial in maintaining the beauty and functionality of our properties throughout peak seasons, ensuring a welcoming environment for our residents and guests. As a Seasonal Maintenance Tech/Grounds/Painter, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including landscaping, general maintenance, and painting projects. Your efforts will contribute directly to the curb appeal and upkeep of our communities. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work outdoors and have experience in painting and grounds maintenance.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience with groundskeeping, painting, or general maintenance preferred.
Ability to operate landscaping and painting equipment safely and effectively.
Physical capability to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
Availability to work seasonally with flexible hours as needed.

Responsibilities

Perform groundskeeping tasks such as mowing lawns, trimming bushes, raking leaves, and maintaining landscaped areas.
Assist with general maintenance work including minor repairs and upkeep of property features.
Prepare and paint interior and exterior surfaces, including walls, fences, and other structures.
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies.
Operate and maintain equipment related to landscaping and painting tasks.
Collaborate with the maintenance team to support smooth property operations during the season.
