About The Position

The Seasonal Trainer is responsible for the execution of Behind the Smile, a new Tier 1 new hire onboarding program within NACF, with a focus on providing a welcoming, exciting, and engaging new hire experience. The Seasonal Trainer plays a key role in driving the success of the onboarding program by supporting new hires in acclimating to their roles and feeling connected to Amazon culture. The Seasonal Trainer also works with operations managers, area managers, production assistants and associates to constantly improves the long-term capabilities of the area to which he/she is assigned. To succeed, the Seasonal Trainer will need to communicate effectively, execute tactically, and collaborate across many teams, levels, and situations. In addition, and ideal candidate for this role will possess: Excellent communication skills Comfortable talking in front of a group as well as one-on-one with an individual Able to give and receive feedback effectively Can drive understanding (i.e. using visual aids, able to recognize when a group or individual is lost and needs more attention) Ability to follow up Always meets time commitments and deadlines, is goal oriented Checks and tests for understanding Gives insight to area managers Proven people skills Works hard for the success of others, constantly remains “customer obsessed” Demonstrates a positive “can do” demeanor and has fun and gains energy from working with others Is an active listener Is a technical expert Demonstrated ability to consistently function at 100% of expectations Understands upstream and downstream variances Is able to use resources to expand knowledge and can answer tough questions

Responsibilities

  • Execute a consistent, best-in-class new hire experience in a rapid and complex changing work environment
  • Using a hands-on approach, engage and excite newly hired employees in a welcoming and supportive environment
  • Drive operational mechanisms to ensure an exceptional, reliable onboarding experience
  • Facilitate a smooth transition from onboarding to in-path training while remaining engaged and acting as a resource for new hires
  • Analyze and interpret metrics to identify areas for continuous improvement
  • React quickly to serve as a resource for specific barriers and determining the correct steps to resolve.
  • Drive effective teamwork, communication, and collaboration across disparate groups with competing priorities.
  • Support a 24/7 environment that has multiple shifts and seasonal staffing ramps to meet customer demand.

  • Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets.
  • The base pay for this position ranges from $18.50/hr in our lowest geographic market up to $24/hr in our highest geographic market.
  • Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
