Seasonal Experienced Kennel Technician
About The Position
This opening is for applicants who have professional experience working previously as a paid Kennel Technician ONLY. If you have not worked as a Kennel Technician previously, please do not apply for this position. Instead, apply for one of our other positions not requiring experience. Shady Acres Pet Ranch in Round Rock, TX is currently seeking to hire experienced kennel technicians who have a desire to work and interact with pets in a fun, engaging work environment. Located on 3 beautiful acres of Brushy Creek frontage, under the cool shade of 100 year old oak trees… This is a boarding facility unlike anything you’ve seen before. Requirements
- Applicants must have professional experience working previously as a paid Kennel Technician ONLY.
- Responsible, punctual and dependable. Little or no absenteeism is extremely important.
- Available to work Weekends and Holidays When Necessary
- A strong Team Player
- An excellent communicator
- Positive and Energetic
Responsibilities
- Providing pets with TLC
- Walking dogs outside
- Cleaning kennels and kennel buildings
- Feeding, watering, and medicating dogs
- Bathing dogs
- Recording pet feeding, medication, elimination and behavior
- Scooping feces from all parts of the inside and outside of the facility
- Moving animals from room to room, to and from play yards, etc.
- Housekeeping duties throughout the facility
