About The Position

Do you dream about being part of History and promoting NYC’s most iconic destination for fun? We are looking for an engaging Ride Operator Team Member for Luna Park in Coney Island. About Us: Central Amusement International Inc. (CAI) is an amusement park development and management company located in New York City. In 2003, CAI developed Victorian Gardens at Wollman Rink in Central Park, and in 2010 developed Luna Park in Coney Island, at the site of the birthplace of the amusement industry. CAI is part of the Zamperla Group, which is the worldwide leader in the manufacturing of amusement rides. Join our team as a Dispatcher at the amusement park! As a key member of our operations team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring effective communication, professionalism, service excellence, and surveillance. Your responsibilities will include receiving and transmitting messages, tracking merchandise, recording important information, and assisting in surveillance activities to maintain the safety and security of our park. Requirements

Previous experience in dispatching or logistics is preferred.
Friendly and approachable demeanor with excellent communication skills.
Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in computer software programs such as Microsoft Office and dispatch software is required.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are necessary.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Operating telephones and providing information as needed.
Taking calls for assistance and maintaining and documenting call records.
Directing radio traffic and dispatching calls.
Operating two-way radio consoles for effective communication.
Providing information and transferring calls as required.
Monitoring surveillance cameras to enhance park security.
Typing computer operating logs and utilizing Microsoft Office software.
Comfortably handling various computer operations.
Communicating cordially with all team members regarding rides maintenance and service.
Tackling any other duties assigned to support park operations.
