About The Position

We’re seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Seasonal Data & Shipping Associate to support our holiday volume surge. You’ll help ensure accurate order processing, data entry, and timely shipping — enabling us to meet demand during our busiest season. SJR is a premier repair center specializing in jewelry and watch repair, as well as custom design. We also operate two retail jewelry stores in the Nashville area, providing a neighborhood jeweler experience with a passion for our customers. Since our start in 2002, we have striven to set ourselves apart in the industry by providing the best customer service and expert jewelry and watch repair to our clients. SJR National Repair Center currently operates in a 38,000 square foot facility located just south of Nashville in Brentwood, TN. With over 40 skilled bench jewelers and watch makers, we service nearly 4,000 jewelers nationwide. We are growing fast and looking for people to join our team with a passion for excellence. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic computer skills: MS Office (Excel, Outlook) and data entry.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable transportation to Brentwood, TN.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or data entry roles.
• Familiarity with carriers and shipping software.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and working with shipping equipment.

Responsibilities

• Accurately enter customer and order data into internal systems.
• Validate order details, shipping addresses, and service specifications.
• Troubleshoot and correct data inconsistencies.
• Prepare outgoing packages for domestic and international shipping.
• Print shipping labels, customs forms, and track shipments.
• Coordinate with carriers (e.g., UPS, FedEx, USPS) for pickups.
• Inspect items before packaging to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Document and report discrepancies to supervisors.
• Respond to internal inquiries regarding order status.
• Provide updates on shipping delays or issues.
