The seasonal cashier’s primary role is to handle all sales transactions including monetary exchange. Keep checkout areas clean, well-stocked, and organized. They will verify all credit card transactions to ensure the proper person is using the card. They are also responsible for counting the contents of the cash register drawer at the end of each shift, maintaining receipts, records, and withdrawals. May be responsible for checking materials and supplies and reporting when stock is low. Designated cashiers will be cross-trained on wholesale transactions. All cashiers will assist in greeting customers, stocking/reststocking the store, and cleaning all areas of the store and premises as assigned. Cashiers will be managed by the Lead Cashier Supervisor/store management.
