Seasonal Camp Assistant Director 2026
About The Position
Rate: $15.50 hourly Status: Seasonal 18 years of age or older preferable If applying for Winter Camp, must be available to work for all these dates December 22nd, 23rd, 26th, 29th, 30th, & January 2nd If applying for summer must be available for the entirety of the summer camp program. (June - August). Prior experience working with children in a recreational or educational setting. Prior experience in management or leadership role. Previous experience in a camp setting or teaching environment is preferred. Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously. This is an outdoor job so needs to be able to work outdoors in various weather. NOTES: All hours and schedules may be subject to change based on City and/or department needs
Requirements
- Must be available for the entirety of the summer camp program. (June - August).
- Experience working with children in a recreational or educational setting.
- Previous experience in a leadership or management role is highly preferred.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Prior experience in a camp setting or as a teacher is preferred.
- This is an outdoor job so needs to be able to work outdoors in various weather.
