About The Position

Coastal Beverage Company, Inc., the leading beverage distributor in Eastern North Carolina, is seeking a Retail Merchandiser. This seasonal role involves safely stocking and maintaining beverage products in customer accounts. The position is available for both full-time and flexible part-time schedules, working from ASAP until mid-September. It requires a service-driven professional with a professional appearance, excellent time management, and outstanding customer service skills. This is a field-based role requiring consistent presence in customer accounts throughout the day during designated standard business hours to ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Possess and display Coastal Beverage Company’s Core Values at all times: Craft It, Own It, Protect It, Celebrate It.
Possess education equivalent to a high school diploma.
Possess the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.
Possess the ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Possess basic mathematical skills including the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, use whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Possess the ability to compute rate, ratio and percent.
Possess ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Possess computer skills requiring knowledge e-mail software, and Internet.
Possess ability to drive, valid driver’s license, and a driving record compliant with company standards.

Responsibilities

Assist the sales and delivery departments by servicing and merchandising retail accounts in the best professional manner possible.
Responsible for stocking and merchandising various products ensuring that all beverage sections, racks, and displays are completely filled, POS neat, clean and current and displays maintained according to Coastal Beverage Company's standards.
Maintain regular and punctual in-person attendance to support merchandising operations and service customer accounts.
All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
