About The Position

The Seasonal Assistant position provides support for services and activities of the SPARTE Community department. This includes services and activities that occur at the City’s recreation center and senior center. Monitoring and delivering adult and youth programs is essential to this role and includes ensuring that sport facilities are appropriately managed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• A valid driver’s license.
• Customer Service principles and practices.
• City general policies and procedures.
• Exceptional external and internal customer service.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to engage with all stakeholders.
• Planning work, time, and resources.
• Mulit-tasking in an environment with multiple interruptions.
• Microsoft Office Products including Outlook, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and perform clerical duties such as serving as a receptionist.
• Assist citizens with activities at assigned City facilities, parks and community centers to include preparing facilities and providing additional information on reservations of parks and city facilities as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
