The Search & Browse Business Analyst (temp) (herein referred to as “analyst”) is responsible for operating and maintaining search and browse platforms of the eCommerce business. He or she will help drive and support daily operational executional asks related to helping members find and discover the best products on our site. In addition, they will work actively with our Digital Merchandising and Product partners to ensure that product shelves and search results are optimized, taking into consideration strategic priorities but always protecting the member experience. We are looking for an experienced eCommerce operations professional with proven know-how on operating and managing search for large-scale eCommerce businesses. Not only that, he or she needs to demonstrate strategic and analytical prowess, being able to support product and algorithm development/roadmap discussions, as well as having a leadership mindset capable of balancing multiple stakeholders. What you'll do... Support and manage on site search and browse platform including researching trends, troubleshooting bugs and fixing sub-optimal search results and browse shelf pages. Manage and drive usability and evolution of in-house platform tools, including re-ranking, relevancy, and boosting tools; liase between Product & Engineering as well as Digital Merchandising to drive effective build-out of algorithm optimization with manual interventions and toolsets. Support and manage Search & Browse system and business metrics; work with analytics to build and maintain performance dashboards as well as support hypothesis-building of opportunities to boost performance metrics such as add-to-cart and conversion rate.
