About The Position

The Scrum Master is responsible for enabling Agile teams to deliver high-quality outcomes through structured execution, strong facilitation, and disciplined flow of work. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, the ability to remove blockers, and a bias toward action. The Scrum Master will support team planning, delivery cadence, stakeholder alignment, and continuous improvement. This is a hybrid position in Puerto Rico

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority and drive alignment across stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and operate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort working with distributed teams across multiple sites and time zones.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Delivery Lead, or similar role.
  • Experience supporting software development and/or digital delivery teams.
  • Familiarity with Jira and Agile reporting practices.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Experience facilitating cross-functional delivery and managing dependencies.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach teams, improve delivery habits, and drive issues to resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Partner with the Product Owner to support backlog refinement, prioritization, and readiness of work.
  • Track team delivery performance and support transparency through metrics and reporting.
  • Identify and remove blockers, escalating when needed to maintain delivery momentum.
  • Support effective collaboration across engineering, program, operations, and enabling functions.
  • Coach team members on Agile practices, team norms, and continuous improvement behaviors.
  • Drive disciplined execution using clear plans, risk/issue tracking, and follow-through to closure.
  • Promote predictable delivery through strong sprint hygiene, dependency management, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Help teams balance multiple priorities while maintaining focus and delivery commitments.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on delivery efficiency and team performance.
  • Champion ethical and professional behavior in all situations.
