The Scrum Master for SCRI IT is a key facilitator responsible for driving delivery and operational excellence across multiple application portfolios. This role ensures the adoption of Agile best practices, supports robust reporting for IT and business leadership, and manages the backlog and triage of non-project related work. The Scrum Master partners with Product Owners, Delivery Leads, and technical teams to enable high-quality, timely delivery of technology solutions that support SCRI’s research and clinical operations. Duties include but are not limited to: Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives) for multiple SCRI IT application teams. Support and enhance reporting processes across the SCRI IT application portfolio, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of metrics, dashboards, and status updates for leadership and stakeholders Manage and optimize backlog for non-project related work, including triage, prioritization, assignment, and follow-up to ensure operational requests are addressed efficiently. Identify and remove impediments to team progress, escalating issues as needed to IT leadership. Collaborate with Product Owners, Delivery Leads, and other SCRI IT stakeholders to ensure alignment, transparency, and effective communication Maintain and improve JIRA workflows, boards, and reporting dashboards to support both project and non-project work, ensuring compliance with SCRI IT standards. Coach SCRI IT teams and stakeholders on Agile principles, portfolio practices, and continuous improvement, adapting approaches to fit the unique needs of research and clinical technology environments.
