Players can wager through the TwinSpires desktop, mobile, and app-based advance-deposit wagering platforms as well as at retail locations and race tracks across the country.JOB SUMMARYThe Scrum Master will be responsible for facilitating a Scrum team to deliver of software for the business. The Scrum Master will help guide and coach the team and the organization in the practices of Agile. They will act as facilitator and process steward. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES A Team-based servant leader who leads by example Strongly supporting the Product Manager and Development Team in their progress to the goal of the iteration and release Guiding and Coaching the Scrum Team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum/Lean practices and enterprise level agile principles and practices Guiding and Coaching both the Scrum Team and the Development team on how to get the most out of self-organization Facilitates all team meetings, including daily stand-up, Iteration planning, Team Demo, Retros and more Removing impediments so the team can remain focused on achieving objectives. Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information Supporting and educating the Product team, especially with respect to refining(aka grooming) and managing the product backlog Coordinate with other Scrum teams, DevOps, Release, POs and Leadership teams Enjoy coaching and mentoring a team to maximize progress and potential Motivated and driven, and have the ability to influence and drive teams to success using Agile/Scrum/Lean practices Other duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements

Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, facilitation, presentation and team building skills
In-depth knowledge of enterprise level agile practices like SAFe but not limited to SAFe.
Experience with Jira or other Agile Management tools
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to identify and address the needs of users.
Thorough understanding of software development best practices and procedures.
Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks.
Ability to be licensed as an Employee by various racing and gaming jurisdictions in which we operate, as required.
Authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis
Bachelor of Science in Information Science/Systems, or equivalent experience and industry certifications
First level Scrum Master certification (PSM I, CSM )
5+ years’ experience working as a Scrum Master for a team

Nice To Haves

Experience with Serverless technologies and mobile platforms is a plus.
