About The Position

The Scrum Master acts as a value delivery catalyst, ensuring Agile discipline translates into predictable business results within a complex Enterprise IT ecosystem. You will orchestrate the "how" of delivery by optimizing workflows, improving quality standards, and leveraging flow metrics to ensure teams remain focused on achieving strategic milestones. This role involves close partnership with Product Owners, Developers, Testers, Delivery Leads, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive the efficient delivery of integrated systems and applications.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Team Coach within an Enterprise IT environment.
  • Flow Theory Expertise: Strong proficiency in Kanban/Scrum and the application of Little’s Law to optimize delivery.
  • Analytical Proficiency: Proven ability to dashboards, interpret team performance metrics and use metrics to drive measurable improvements.
  • Local Presence: Ability to work a hybrid schedule in the Atlanta/Perimeter/Cumberland area.
  • Required Certifications (Hold or obtain within 90 days): Scrum Alliance: CSM or Advanced-CSM. Or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe): Certified SAFe® Scrum Master (SSM) or Certified SAFe® Advance Scrum Master (SASM) ICAgile: Certified Professional in Agile Team Coaching (ICP-ACC).

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience working on a large-scale Agile Release Train (ART).
  • Strong familiarity with Azure DevOps
  • Familiarity with AgilityInsights (Enterprise Agile Maturity Assessment Tool)
  • ICAgile Certified Professional in Agile Team Facilitation (ICP-ATF).
  • Leading SAFe Certification (SA 6.0)

Responsibilities

  • Improve the flow of value from initial concept to production to maximize value delivery and reduce time to market.
  • Utilize flow metrics, burndowns, and dashboards to provide visibility into process efficiencies and drive continuous improvement.
  • Monitor team boards to stabilize throughput, ensuring teams achieve a high predictability score on committed sprint goals.
  • Leverage Cycle Time, Lead Time, and Velocity data to improve forecasting accuracy and provide transparent, fact-based updates to leadership.
  • Facilitate retrospectives using data from CFDs and defect trends to drive objective improvement actions that increase quality and efficiency.
  • Maintain real-time dashboards (e.g., Azure DevOps, AgilityInsights) to ensure risks and dependencies are visible across the enterprise ecosystem.
  • Partner with Delivery Leads and stakeholders to navigate complex technical integrations and cross-team system dependencies.
  • Facilitate high-impact ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews/Demos, and Retrospectives) that are outcome-focused and time-boxed.
  • Mentor teams and Product Owners on Lean-Agile principles and backlog refinement to ensure work is small, testable, and valuable.
  • Experience working with distributed teams (near shore, off shore)
  • Experience working with Team Collaboration tools such as Miro and/or Figma/Figjam
  • Cultivate Lean Agile Principles and Mindset Across all Teams
  • Actively remove daily impediments and mitigate risks, escalating to the leadership when organizational blockers surface.
  • Support CI/CD adoption and automation to shift quality "left" and reduce manual.
