As a Scrum Master within PNC's Technology organization, you can be based in Pittsburgh PA, Strongsville OH, Birmingham AL, Phoenix AZ or Dallas TX. PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position. We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support an ongoing ServiceNow transformation initiative. This large-scale program spans multiple agile teams and continues to evolve as the organization modernizes its service management capabilities. This role will focus specifically on the IT Asset Management (ITAM) domain, supporting a mature, fully formed agile team and ensuring delivery excellence in a fast-paced environment. Job Description Supports and facilitates generally one to two Scrum Teams in various functions by fostering Agile values and practices. Ensures team adherence to Agile principles. Provides coaching to the Scrum Team(s) on how to execute the Scrum framework. Organizes and facilitates ceremonies, identifies improvement opportunities to optimize velocity and quality while mitigating risk. Tracks and communicates the overall team progress providing visibility to stakeholders. Serves as a filter to remove impediments to progress as identified by the team. Protects the team from outside influences to ensure the team remains focused on Scrum Team priorities. Partners with the Product Owner to ensure the backlog items are prioritized based on business value and ready for the team. Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master on complex, fast-paced initiatives
  • Strong Agile and Scrum expertise with the ability to confidently lead established teams
  • Highly organized, proactive, and adaptable
  • Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience.
  • Certifications are often desired.

Nice To Haves

  • Scrum certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) strongly preferred
  • Experience working on ServiceNow implementations or transformations is a plus
  • Familiarity with IT Asset Management (ITAM) concepts or IT service management environments

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Scrum Master for the ITAM crew, with potential to support up to two crews as the program scales
  • Lead and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospectives)
  • Partner closely with Product Owners, BSAs, QEs, and other team members to ensure alignment, transparency, and delivery of sprint goals
  • Coach the team on Agile and Scrum best practices, fostering continuous improvement and high performance
  • Remove impediments and manage dependencies across teams within the broader ServiceNow transformation
  • Ensure work is well-tracked and visible using Jira and Confluence
  • Promote strong collaboration across IT and business stakeholders
