This position is located in our West Des Moines, Iowa office, with the possibility of a hybrid work schedule (2 days remote, 3 days in the office)
What You’ll Do: As a Scrum Master you will provide technical and process-oriented leadership in support of implementing key business initiatives and project objectives. You will lead a delivery team to develop software while transitioning the organization to an Agile-based development.

Requirements

• College degree or equivalent plus five years related experience required.
• Previous direct responsibility in a Scrum Master role is required.
• Industry certification in one agile methodology required.
• Must have the aptitude to learn both business and technical terms and processes well enough to be a strong liaison between IT and the Business.
• Strong documentation, analytical and problem solving skills.

Nice To Haves

• Expertise in one or more other agile methodologies (Scrum, Lean, Kanban, XP, TDD, CI) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with Product Owners to prioritize the product roadmap in support of product release goals.
• Manage and communicate team metrics and reporting data.
• Work with the teams to set incremental goals and manage across the cross functional teams to achieve these goals within designated time frames.
• Communicate status of project via sprint and release-specific reports and improve transparency as to project status and radiate information.
• Organize and facilitate sprint ceremonies such as daily scrum meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos and other Scrum-related meetings.
• Manage, understand and be able to produce backlog tracking, predictability, productivity, burndown metrics, velocity, and task definition.
