About The Position

We are a well-funded biotech startup that has developed a proprietary single cell platform that resolves a bottleneck for immunotherapy. We are currently looking for an antibody development scientist to join our interdisciplinary team. The candidate is expected to adapt quickly and communicate well, especially in a fast-paced startup environment. They will collaborate with other team members and be part of an exciting journey. Requirements

PhD in Structure biology, Protein engineering, Biochemistry, Immunology, Molecular Biology, Bioengineering, or a related field, with 4+ years industry experience or postdoctoral training leading cross-functional projects and having delivered results (direct contributions to a drug candidate).
Strong background in protein engineering and antibody development with a focus on bispecific or multispecific antibodies.
Extensive experience in bispecific antibody production and developability optimization.
Hands-on experience designing and advancing T cell engagers or multispecific antibodies.
Experience with antibody discovery/engineering using phage/yeast display.
Knowledge of T cell biology and T cell activation mechanisms.
Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment, take initiative, and drive projects forward independently.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Design T-cell engagers and execute their development and optimization campaigns.
Work with internal and external team on antibody discovery, characterization, and production.
Drive developability and manufacturability assessments.
Manage external relationships and deliverables.
Collaborate cross-functionally with computational scientists and immunologists to optimize and validate candidate molecules through iterative engineering and in vitro/in vivo studies.
