As Siemens Healthineers works to bring cardiac radioablation (CRA) to the market, critical to our success is our ability to partner with key, opinion-leading (KOL) electrophysiologists (EPs) to develop the technology, demonstrate its value, and obtain new reimbursement. The role is responsible for partnering with KOL EPs, influencing professional societies, driving EP awareness and interest in our RADIATE-VT clinical trial, managing a Scientific Advisory Board, developing a publication strategy, and generally assisting with moving the cross-functional program forward.

Requirements

  • 5+ years academic EP experience or 5+ years EP medical device industry experience
  • KOL EP relationships
  • In-depth knowledge and expertise of EP trials, therapies and products
  • Leadership by influence
  • Strong ability to develop excellent customer relationships
  • Excellent influencing and interpersonal skills
  • Performance driven
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams including Medical Affairs, Government Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Engineering, Product Management, Marketing, Sales, and Legal
  • Willingness to travel up to 10-40% of the time

Responsibilities

  • Identifies, builds and maintains best in class KOL EP partnerships
  • Influences professional societies
  • Builds and oversees a CRA Scientific Advisory Board
  • Drives EP awareness and interest in our RADIATE-VT clinical trial
  • Drives patient enrollment at our RADIATE-VT clinical trial sites
  • Develops a publication strategy
  • Develops educational materials for VT patients considering participation in RADIATE-VT
  • Collaborates with KOL EPs and Product Management to support our product development roadmap and strategy
  • Collaborates with KOL EPs and Medical Affairs to support our evidence development strategy
  • Collaborates with KOL EPs and Government Affairs to support our reimbursement roadmap and strategy
  • Sets the strategy for and leads the review of investigator-initiated research proposals
  • Maintains a deep understanding of CRA technologies and clinical studies
  • Maintains a deep understanding of VT therapy technologies and clinical studies
  • Interprets and effectively communicates relevant medical and scientific research/data to internal and external stakeholders
