As a Scientific Associate in Biomarker Analysis, the role involves method development, validation, and sample analysis for ligand binding assays. The associate will collaborate closely with a supervisor to ensure the accurate and efficient execution of bioanalytical processes, contributing to the advancement of bioanalysis science.

Requirements

• Ability to read, execute, and understand complicated and detailed instruction and technical literature to plan, perform, and direct laboratory activities
• Excellent attention to detail
• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline (immunology, biology, biochemistry, or related field)
• Minimum of 0-1 years of direct laboratory experience

Nice To Haves

• Experienced in MSD, ELISA, and PCR
• Experienced in LIM system

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment maintenance and operation: Ensure proper functioning, calibration, and maintenance such as freezers and fridges, plate shakers and plate readers
• Conduct bioanalytical assays such as Ligand Binding Assays for example MSD (Meso Scale Discovery) singleplex and multiplex assays and ELISA assays
• Perform good documentation: thoroughly document all procedures, including steps, reagents, and instrument settings
• Perform mathematic calculations
• Maintain clear and organized records for traceability and audit purposes
• Properly handle and store biological samples in freezers and maintain accurate records of sample locations and conditions
