Position Overview: Deliver mandated Social-Emotional counseling minutes for a consistent K-8 caseload of approximately 40 students, ensuring all IEP and 504 plan requirements are met. Develop comprehensive social-emotional components of student plans, including behavior data analysis, individualized goals, benchmarks, and necessary accommodations or modifications. Lead social-emotional discussions during IEP and 504 meetings with families and staff as a vital member of the Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) team. Monitor student progress through diligent data collection to ensure interventions are effectively supporting student growth and classroom success.

Requirements

• Master of Social Work (MSW) (Required)
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Social Worker (SSW) endorsement (Required)
• Prior experience navigating the IEP/504 process, including goal writing and behavior data interpretation within a K-8 school setting
