Ampersand Therapy is hiring a School Social Worker in Morton Grove, IL. Position Details Start Date: March 16th, 2026 Schedule: Full-time until end of school year, Maternity Leave Coverage Location: Park View School in Morton Grove, IL Setting: Elementary school, single-building caseload Your Key Responsibilities Provide IEP counseling services and social-emotional support Attend and participate in IEP meetings Complete IEP documentation and progress reports Collaborate with school-based special education teams Maintain accurate and timely documentation Engage with families and community-based supports when appropriate Participate in staff meetings and contribute to a collaborative school culture What We’re Looking For Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Social Worker endorsement Experience in schools or special education is a plus Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a major asset but not required Passion for inclusive, student-centered support and school collaboration Benefits & Perks (for 0.8 FTE and higher) Paid sick leave Healthcare benefits: medical, dental, vision 401(k) with employer match Reimbursement for licensure, CEUs, and professional development Mileage reimbursement at IRS rate W2 employment General and professional liability insurance Referral bonuses No non-compete clauses Paid time off for volunteer work and donation matching Waiting period applies for benefits Why Join Ampersand Therapy?
