About The Position
Clarifi Staffing Solutions is partnering with a local Illinois school district to fill a part-time School Social Worker position for the remainder of the school year. This is a great opportunity for a licensed social worker seeking a flexible schedule while making a meaningful impact on students and school communities. This role runs from January 5 through June 3 and requires availability two days per week during regular school hours, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The School Social Worker will support students’ social-emotional needs, provide counseling services, and collaborate with school staff and families to promote student success.
Requirements
- Candidates must hold an active Illinois license for School Social Work
- Experience working with children or adolescents in an educational setting.
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills are essential, along with a student-centered and supportive approach.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect services to students, including individual and small-group counseling, crisis intervention, and social-emotional skill development.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff
- Participate in problem-solving and IEP meetings as appropriate
- Help connect families with school and community resources.
