About The Position

Are you a School Psychologist passionate about helping students succeed? Cross Country Education invites you to bring your expertise as a School Psychologist to Bridgeport, CT for the '25 to '26 school year! Position Overview: Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations for K-12 students to determine special education eligibility and inform data-driven interventions. Provide direct consultation and training to staff and families for the development, implementation, and monitoring of effective Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) interventions and strategies. Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), develop Positive Behavior Intervention Plans (PBIPs), and provide immediate crisis intervention services, including risk assessments on assigned campuses.

Requirements

  • Master's or Doctoral Degree in School Psychology (Required)
  • Must include specific coursework and 60+ graduate semester hours and completion of a 1,200-hour (10-school month) internship
  • Valid Connecticut Initial Educator Certificate for School Psychology
  • Alternatively : Candidates holding the National Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) credential are welcome to apply for CT certification through enhanced reciprocity
