Aspire Living & Learning is currently seeking a School Psychologist to play a vital role in working with the stakeholders (e.g., students, parents, teachers, administrators) to support the learning and development of students across the age range (K-12 and transition) to help them succeed academically, behaviorally, emotionally, and socially.

Requirements

Specialist (e.g., 6th Year, Ed.S., CAS, CAGS) or doctoral degree in school psychology from an accredited university preferred
Current Certification in School Psychology (070) required
Ability to communicate effectively with parents, school districts, and all levels of staff across the organization.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
Must have satisfactory background checks
Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
Ability to handle physical aspects of job, including bending, stooping, lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, and walking for periods of time.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
May be required to travel.

Responsibilities

Partners with school employees to develop and implement evidence based social, emotional, and behavioral programming.
Delivers implementation of this programming at the systems, classroom, and individual levels.
Communicates progress to parents and provides support as necessary.
Completes social/behavioral, academic, cognitive, adaptive, and transition assessments.
Interprets findings and presents results to stakeholders (e.g., parents, district administrators, school employees)
Ensures a trauma aware environment for all students.
Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills and outstanding interpersonal skills.
Cultivate a positive and productive workplace atmosphere to enhance team morale and productivity.
Participate in and complete training sessions as delegated by management to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to the role.
Conduct training as required and assigned.
Perform any additional job responsibilities assigned by supervisors or team leaders to support the organization's smooth operation.
Accept reassignment as required.
