About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist for a 20-week travel assignment supporting a rural school district in Rock Hall, Maryland. This role spans the 2025–2026 academic year and involves providing psychological and educational support across multiple school sites, including elementary, middle, and high school levels. The district serves approximately 1,700 students and offers a manageable caseload, with around 220 active IEPs. This is an itinerant position requiring travel between school locations.

Requirements

• Active Maryland School Psychologist License (required at time of submission)
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
• Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Strong assessment, analytical, and report-writing skills
• Solid understanding of IEP processes and special education laws
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to manage a caseload across multiple locations

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and student assessments
• Support the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in eligibility, IEP, and team meetings
• Provide behavioral and academic intervention strategies
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district special education regulations
• Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and student records
• Deliver consultation and guidance to school staff and families
• Provide crisis intervention and student support as needed
• Travel between multiple school sites within the district
