About The Position
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to support a close-knit school district for the 2025–2026 academic year. This role focuses on conducting psychological assessments, evaluations, and supporting IEP processes across multiple school sites. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative, student-centered environment with manageable caseloads and strong team support.
Requirements
- Active Maryland School Psychologist License (required at time of submission)
- Prior school-based experience preferred
- Strong understanding of special education processes and IEP development
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and student assessments
- Interpret assessment data and prepare comprehensive evaluation reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and assist with eligibility determinations
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams
- Provide recommendations to support students’ academic and behavioral success
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and district regulations
- Maintain accurate documentation and complete evaluations within required timelines
