About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and motivated Registered Dietitian for a 13-week travel assignment in an inpatient acute care setting at a Level II trauma and teaching hospital. This role focuses on delivering high-quality medical nutrition therapy to adult inpatient populations across multiple care units.

Requirements

Active Washington State Dietitian License (Required)
Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential (Required)
Recent inpatient adult acute care experience (within the last 6 months)
Strong experience with enteral and parenteral nutrition support
Proficiency in Epic EMR system
Ability to work across multiple units/sites as needed
Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and critical thinking skills
Ability to manage a structured inpatient caseload efficiently
Bachelor’s or higher degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments for adult inpatients
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans
Perform enteral and parenteral nutrition order writing
Adjust nutrition interventions based on patient progress and lab results
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams including physicians and nursing staff
Accurately document all interventions in the Epic EMR system
Manage a daily caseload of approximately 8–10 patients
Float between assigned units as required
Ensure adherence to clinical nutrition standards and regulatory guidelines
Participate in patient care rounds and interdisciplinary meetings
Provide nutrition education to patients and their families
