About The Position

Be the heart of student support and shape the daily lives and long-term growth in the Park City! Cross Country Education is looking for a dedicated School Psychologist passionate about bridging the gap between assessment and classroom success, to join our team in Bridgeport, CT for the 2025-2026 school year. Position Overview: Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational assessments for K-12 students to unlock their potential and drive meaningful, classroom-based interventions. Partner with teachers and families to design and monitor Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) strategies that foster both academic achievement and social-emotional wellness. Lead the development of Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Positive Behavior Intervention Plans (PBIPs) to create supportive, thriving classroom environments. Provide essential on-campus support and risk assessments, ensuring a safe and inclusive school community for every student.

Requirements

  • Master's or Doctoral Degree in School Psychology (Required)
  • Completion of 60+ graduate semester hours and a comprehensive 1,200-hour school-based internship
  • Valid Connecticut Initial Educator Certificate (070)
