Ampersand Therapy is hiring an Occupational Therapist for leave of absence in Gurnee, Illinois for the 2025–2026 school year . Position Details Start Date: As soon as possible, leave of absence through 3/20 (could be longer) Schedule: Monday - Friday Location: Woodland School District 50, Elementary School Caseload: Elementary School, grades 1-3 Service Areas: Student evaluations, treatments, IEPs, documentation, collaboration

Requirements

• Illinois Occupational Therapy license
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Passion for supporting students in inclusive educational settings

Nice To Haves

• School-based experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide school-based OT services in alignment with IEP goals
• Conduct evaluations and write reports
• Participate in IEP meetings and progress monitoring
• Maintain timely documentation
• Collaborate with special education teams and related service providers
