About The Position
Hello, LPNs & RNs! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to provide 1:1 care or float nursing support. This role focuses on supporting a medically fragile student throughout the school day, including transportation needs. If you have strong clinical skills and want meaningful, student-centered work, this is a high-impact opportunity.
Requirements
- Active Washington State LPN license (DOH) or Compact Multi-State Nursing License Equivalent OR Registered Nurse license
- Ability to pass fingerprinting and background check
- Reliable, attentive, and comfortable in a 1:1 setting
Nice To Haves
- Pediatric experience strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist with safe transfers, including on/off the school bus
- Monitor student health status and respond to medical needs
- Collaborate with school staff and family to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow care plans
- Support student access to school throughout the day
