Cross Country Education is looking for a proactive Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to lead school-based health initiatives in Memphis, TN . Position Overview: Provide direct nursing services for K-8 students, including medication administration, emergency first aid, and the management of chronic conditions through Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs). Conduct state-mandated vision and hearing screenings, maintain rigorous immunization audits, and ensure all electronic medical records (EMR) adhere to HIPAA and FERPA confidentiality standards. Serve as the medical expert in IEP, 504 Plan, and Student Support Team meetings to ensure health-related barriers to learning are addressed. Manage emergency preparedness by training staff in CPR/First Aid and maintaining a flexible schedule to provide urgent health coverage across three campus locations as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
  • Valid Tennessee Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License
  • Active First Aid & CPR Certification and a Valid Driver’s License for travel between campuses (Required)
