Position Overview: Deliver classroom guidance and individual counseling focused on social-emotional learning (SEL), conflict resolution, and crisis intervention for students in grades K-8. Serve as the primary Case Manager for 504 plans and lead Student Support Team (SST) and RTI meetings to ensure academic and behavioral interventions are data-driven. Monitor attendance and behavior data to implement truancy protocols (SART) and facilitate high school transition planning for middle school students. Act as a liaison between the school and outside agencies while providing professional development to staff on critical topics like child abuse reporting and restorative practices.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in School Counseling
  • Valid Tennessee (or state reciprocity) PreK-12 School Counselor endorsement (Required)

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of experience serving K-8 student populations in a school setting (Preferred)
