Here's the details: 10-month position, August 16 – June 15 (Summers off!) Monday–Friday, 8-hour days during school hours Location: Two schools in the North Raleigh area (North Central Wake County) 3 days/week at one school 2 days/week at another school Schools may include preschool, elementary, middle, or high school As a School Health Nurse, you’ll serve as a vital link between healthcare and education by: Conducting nursing assessments and managing student health needs Developing and implementing individualized healthcare plans Training and supervising school staff on health-related procedures Supporting students with chronic conditions through care coordination Collaborating with families, providers, and community partners Participating in IEP and 504 meetings for students with medical needs Performing vision screenings, referrals, and follow-ups Identifying students who may benefit from additional health services Ready for a better work-life balance without leaving nursing behind?
