About The Position
Dragonfly Cares is seeking compassionate, motivated individuals to join our school-based team as Behavior Technicians (BTs/RBTs). This role is ideal for candidates with mental health, social work, counseling, psychology, or related human-services experience who want to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students. As a BT/RBT, you will work directly with students in school environments, implementing behavior support plans created by a BCBA. Your background in mental health or social work helps you bring empathy, rapport-building skills, and a strong understanding of human behavior.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, education, or a related human-services field
- ABA experience is required
- Experience working with children or adolescents
- Strong communication, patience, and empathy
- Ability to follow clinical direction from a BCBA
- Reliability and comfort working in school settings
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 support to students during the school day
- Implement behavior intervention strategies designed by a BCBA
- Support emotional regulation and pro-social skills
- Collect data and communicate observations to the clinical team
- Collaborate with school staff to promote student success
