Position Overview: Lead school-based Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to determine environmental triggers and develop IEP-aligned Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs). Utilize Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles to monitor student progress through systematic data collection and visual analysis of behavioral trends. Provide on-site coaching and professional development for teachers and paraprofessionals on classroom management and crisis de-escalation. Serve as the behavioral expert within the multidisciplinary IEP team to ensure behavioral goals are integrated into the student’s daily academic schedule.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in ABA, Special Education, or Psychology
  • Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Certification through the BACB (Required)
  • Demonstrated experience navigating the K-12 school environment and the IEP process
