About The Position
Support student success in the South Bay! Cross Country Education is seeking two Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to provide dedicated behavioral support with multidisciplinary collaboration and the practical application of ABA within a K-12 setting to foster positive classroom cultures in Hawthorne and Lawndale, CA for the remainder of the school year. Position Overview: Conduct comprehensive student and classroom observations to assist in the development of Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs). Provide targeted professional development to teachers and support staff through individual consultations, classroom-based guidance, and whole-group training sessions. Partner with school-based teams to ensure behavioral strategies are implemented with fidelity to improve student outcomes and classroom climate. Maintain consistent support and documentation for an assigned student caseload, ensuring seamless continuity of care during a specified leave period.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, or Psychology
- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Certification through the BACB (Required)
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience as a Behavior Specialist or Behavior Analyst in a K-12 educational setting (Preferred)
