About The Position

The Scheduling Team Leader will have direct oversight of all assigned program specific schedules to include scheduling and maintaining staff schedules and openings. They will also have direct oversight of all program specific relief staff. In addition, the Scheduling Team Lead will be stationed at the front desk to answer phones, greet people, etc.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or related human services program
  • Must possess and demonstrate leadership skills.
  • Scheduling and supervisory experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Valid NYS driver's license required.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee department schedules to ensure adequate staffing.
  • Manage relief employees in the assigned region and programs, including overtime, overtime justifications and ensuring staff receive training, updates, and med pours as assigned
  • Provide supervision and coordinate schedules for Floaters and Relief staff.
  • Develop regular scheduled meetings with assigned staff.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of associated regulations.
  • Work collectively with other departments/schedulers to manage staffing resources.
  • Work collaboratively with Coordinators/Managers and Assistant Directors for time off approvals.
  • Responsible for performing receptionist duties, greeting visitors, checking credentials, maintaining sign-in documents, answering and routing all incoming telephone calls
  • Clerical and administrative duties as assigned by supervisor to include but not limited to; maintaining reports and data bases, administration of Co-Op, filing, copying, etc.
